  'Hightown Hockey club was originally from Formby in Liverpool, this year they merged with Bowden Hockey Club in Altrincham, Cheshire - this meant a move of pitch and clubhouse - Bowden Hightown now have 7 womens teams and 8 mens teams, they have provided us with fantastic support over our first season.

Hightown are league winners on 3 occasions (95/96, 99/00, 03/04), Cup Winners on 4 occasions (91/92, 94/95, 96/97, 03,04) Indoor runners up (03/04) and the only team in England to have ever taken the treble.

Hightown have also won Gold in the European Cup Winners Cup tournament in 1996, and took a bronze medal in the European Club Championships in 1997.

The Hightown team currently holds 2 Olympians, 13, past and present English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish Internationals.

Hightown has been sponsored again this year by Slazenger, they have also been fortunate in being given extra sponsorship from Croft Fuels of Formby, National drinks brand 'WKD' of Beverage Brands, and local bar 'Classroom' of Atrincham - they would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors for their help and support over the season.'
