GUIDELINES FOR SPONSORING (TEAM) CLUB CLOTHING FROM

HC 'S-HERTOGENBOSCH

Sponsorship is a vital source of income for top-level hockey and recreational sports at our club. Therefore, we must be mindful of companies that make a substantial contribution to this. Companies sponsor because they care about our club, or because our club generates name recognition and even revenue through their sponsorship. Every company has its own reason for sponsoring our club. Sponsorship involves agreements from both the company and our club. We strive to honor our agreements wherever possible, and we need everyone's support to do so.

We see many involved parents/players and entrepreneurs contributing in various ways. This includes Main Sponsorship, Partner Sponsorship, Gold Sponsorship, Silver Sponsorship, Bronze Sponsorship, board sponsorship, and as a Business Club member (Hockey Society). The sponsorship committee works on this daily.

We regularly see parents with their own businesses, for example, sponsoring their child's or a friend's team together with other parents who are entrepreneurs. This is certainly wonderful to see, but it also sometimes presents challenges due to the interests of other major sponsors. To minimize these challenges, we have guidelines for sponsoring (team/club) clothing. It seems only logical to us.

Are you about to arrange your team's clothing? Then read these guidelines carefully so you won't be faced with any surprises later if you don't follow them.

We assume that we can count on your cooperation.

With sporty regards,

Board and Sponsorship Committee HC 's-Hertogenbosch.

Update season 2025/2026

Principles

  • We wear the official HC 's-Hertogenbosch home and away kit with pride.
  • JDH is the clothing partner of HC 's-Hertogenbosch.
  • Respecteren van de huidige sponsorafspraken met bestaande clubsponsors voor wat betreft het officiële uit- en thuis tenue.
  • As HC 's-Hertogenbosch, we are careful with our name and logo.
  • The official HC 's-Hertogenbosch club kit consists of a black and white (away) match shirt / yellow shorts and skirt / black socks and yellow socks (for the away kit).

seniors

  • The Women's 1st and Men's 1st teams receive their match and training uniforms on loan from the club. Wearing other match and/or training uniforms is not permitted.

The following agreements apply to recreational sports:

Competition clothing

  • All members are required to wear the official, up-to-date JDH club uniform of HC 's-Hertogenbosch. This includes a black or white match shirt, yellow shorts or skirt, and black or yellow socks (matching the away shirt).
  • Sponsorship on the official black or white match jersey is not permitted. Only the main sponsor "Scotch Investments" and "PassaHockey" are listed there.
  • Sponsorship of the competition shorts/skirt is permitted only by companies that also sponsor the club. For more information, please contact the sponsorship committee at sponsorcommissie@hcdenbosch.nl or clubmanager@hcdenbosch.nl.

Pre- and after-match clothing for senior broad teams

  • For a uniform appearance, the club strongly prefers team clothing from the JDH line, clothing partner of HC 's-Hertogenbosch.
  • The official club logo of HC 's-Hertogenbosch may only be used and printed on clothing and items from the clothing sponsor: JDH.
  • Pre- and post-match clothing and/or tracksuits may be sponsored by your own sponsor(s) provided they don't conflict with club sponsors (see sponsorship overview). This type of sponsorship is subject to mandatory reporting (clubmanager@hcdenbosch.nl and sponsorcommissie@hcdenbosch.nl). Ideally, we'd like to see sponsors contribute something extra to the club itself across the club. Sponsors can be contacted for visibility or other types of sponsorship.

Juniors and minis

  • The first-tier teams (A through D) and the second-tier teams (D) receive match kit and tracksuits on loan from the club. Mentioning any sponsor other than the club's official sponsors on official (training) kit provided on loan by the club is not permitted. In-kind sponsorship by sponsors other than JDH is not permitted for these teams if it concerns items also found in the JDH product range.

Competition clothing

  • All members are required to wear the official JDH match kits of HC 's-Hertogenbosch. This includes a black or white match shirt, yellow shorts or skirt, and black or yellow socks (matching the away shirt).
  • Sponsorship on the official black or white match shirt is not permitted. Only youth sponsors "Appèl" and "PassaHockey" are listed on the shirt.
  • Non-first-line teams are permitted to have their own (first) name printed on the back of their black or white match shirt, provided the shirt is owned by the member, through our clothing partners Teun van Pelt Sports or PassaHockey. This is to ensure the correct font, size, and uniformity. For first-line teams, clothing is provided by HC 's-Hertogenbosch.
  • Sponsorship of the competition shorts/skirt is permitted only by companies that also sponsor the club. Please contact the sponsorship committee in advance about this at sponsorcommissie@hcdenbosch.nl or clubmanager@hcdenbosch.nl.

Pre- and After-match clothing for youth teams

  • For a uniform look, the club strongly prefers team clothing from the JDH line, the clothing partner of HC 's-Hertogenbosch.
  • The official club logo of HC 's-Hertogenbosch may only be used and printed on clothing and items from the clothing sponsor: JDH.
  • Pre- and post-match clothing and/or tracksuits may be used with your own sponsor(s), provided they don't conflict with club sponsors (see this sponsorship page).

Teams that fail to comply with the above agreements may be held accountable for these guidelines. The unfortunate consequence may be that they are not allowed to play in the corresponding match shirts.

Starting December 1, 2025, every member is required to wear the new shirts. Players who fail to comply will be held accountable and will not be allowed to play with the team again until they comply with the rules we have made regarding the match shirts.
