Student Drop-In Training Monday EveningsAre you a student living in 's-Hertogenbosch? Have you played hockey before and enjoy training with other students during the week? Then you can at our club! We have a drop-in training session every Monday evening from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM. We have half a field available, and we'll provide the equipment (no trainer) so you can enjoy playing hockey. You'll need to bring your own stick, shin guards, and mouthguard. Participation costs €95 for six months; there's no registration fee.
For more information, please email tc-senioren@hcdenbosch.nl.
Seniors Thursday Night: The Thursday Night Competition is a new initiative by the KNHB (Royal Dutch Football Association) to offer a good selection of competitions during the week for those who want to play a match but no longer want to play on Sundays. The competition consists of home and away matches, always starting at 8:30 PM. Afterwards, there's a social gathering with snacks and drinks.
Membership: Trim Member. We have three women's teams that play competitively on Thursday evenings and one men's team that trains on Thursday evenings. Both teams play in the 1st division. When there's no match, there's an opportunity to train independently.
Ladies Thursday afternoon: Ladies can also play hockey on Thursday afternoons. One women's team plays a competitive match every Thursday afternoon at a fixed time (2:00 PM). Afterwards, there's a leisurely tea and drinks reception. The team currently consists of 12 players and could use some reinforcements. In this competition, if there are too few players, they opt for an 8-on-8 setup with a goalkeeper on half the pitch.
A 4-part round is played once every 3 weeks at one of the participating clubs.
Training members: Both beginners and advanced players can become training members. This is especially useful if you want to join halfway through the year or haven't played hockey for a while. Training takes place every Tuesday evening from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM under the guidance of a trainer. Membership fee: Training member
New is the training membership. This allows you to become a training member and train with a team or training group, plus you can legally substitute three times. For more information, go to club info/membership and membership.
Trim hockey is an alternative to playing competitively on Sundays. The HC 's-Hertogenbosch trimmers are an enthusiastic group of over 50 hockey players of various levels, from relatively inexperienced to highly advanced. Most trimmers are between 40 and 55 years old. Some are parents of youth members, but there are also many members who don't have children who play hockey. Training takes place on Monday evenings in two mixed groups. The emphasis is on developing technique, and a game is also played. Training starts at 8:30 PM and lasts until 10:00 PM. After each training session, there's a friendly atmosphere for drinks. It's a relaxed format where your attendance isn't required; you decide whether or not to participate. Occasionally, matches are organized against other trim teams from the area. The target group is men and women aged 35 and older, preferably with some hockey experience. New members can be placed if there is room in the trim hockey groups. For more information, please contact Nicole Mallens trimhockey@hcdenbosch.nl
Sevens/hockey 7 Sevens / Hockey 7 is a flexible form of hockey for people aged 30 and over who do not want to play every Sunday but do want to continue playing hockey.
- It is played in teams of seven players on half a field, without a goalkeeper and referees.
- There are men's, women's and mixed teams.
- Each game night consists of two 25-minute matches against different opponents.
- Matches take place every other week on Thursday or Friday evenings for four blocks during the season.
- HC 's-Hertogenbosch currently has a men's team (Thursday) and a mixed team (Friday).
Sevens/Hockey 7 offers a flexible and fun way for people over 30 to stay active in the sport. It allows them to continue playing hockey while balancing other commitments. Whether you're an experienced hockey player or a beginner, Sevens/Hockey 7 gives players the opportunity to have fun on the field without the competitive pressure of traditional hockey. Join Sevens/Hockey 7 and enjoy the game in a relaxed atmosphere!
Summer and winter evening hockey: The club offers the opportunity to play small-sided hockey matches on Thursday evenings, both summer and winter. These are mixed teams that are formed on-site.
Flexhockey. Does your team sometimes use a (former) player as a substitute, or do you know players who would like to participate? Then there's now a solution: substitute play or a punch card. You register once on the Flexhockey website (€10) and then choose your product. Hc Den Bosch offers a substitute play for €12.50 and a punch card for €50 (max 5 substitutes per year). Joining a training session is NOT permitted. For more information, visit Flexhockey.nl.
Non-playing membersThis category currently includes anyone who is temporarily not playing hockey due to, for example, injury, pregnancy, temporary stay abroad, etc. But also those who have a warm heart for HC 's-Hertogenbosch and would like to be or remain a member after an active hockey career so that they can remain involved with the club.
Duo Membership: Within the club, you have the option of taking out a duo membership with a teammate. This means you share a membership and only play half the number of matches. A team must have at least 12 players, and a duo can participate in all training sessions but may only play half the league matches. For more information, visit club info/membership and membership.
Senior Team Discount: Senior teams have a team discount. The number of members in your team determines the amount of this discount. The discount will be credited to your team pass later in the season. For more information, go to club info/contributions and membership.
Additional information: The senior teams are expected to manage the bar and kitchen and provide referees for Sunday matches. (If you play at home, the teams will be designated for this.) We are also always looking for volunteers who can and want to contribute to a friendly club in various ways. For example, we are still looking for people for the senior tournament committee, we are always in need of good coaches for the youth teams, and good referees for the Saturday matches for the youth teams are also very welcome. If you are interested in becoming a member or would like more information based on the above, please send an email to tc-senioren@hcdenbosch.nl. Registration is via the website. There is a one-time registration fee of €60.
