CONFIDENTIAL CONTACT PERSONS

Sanne Wuisman is de vertrouwenscontactpersoon (VCP) binnen onze vereniging. Zij is al een aantal jaar betrokken bij de vereniging omdat haar kinderen lid zijn van HC Den Bosch en dat met veel plezier doen. Sanne heeft bij de Academie voor Sportkader de introductiecursus voor Vertrouwenscontactpersoon gevolgd. Recentelijk (begin 2023) is Freek Gillissen aangetreden als tweede vertrouwenscontactpersoon binnen onze vereniging. Hij is al een aantal jaren actief binnen onze vereniging als spelend lid bij de senioren, en tevens als onderdeel van de staf van Heren 1. Hij zal ook binnenkort de introductiecursus voor VCP gaan volgen.


Since 2020, there has been a mandatory reporting requirement for board members and supervisors when they suspect sexual harassment or abuse. The VCP (Association of Personnel and Support Workers) is not obligated to report and will always treat any information she receives confidentially. As a VCP, Sanne is independent and will encourage the board to resolve the incident and continuously work towards a safe sports environment.


Role of the Confidential Contact Person (CCP)

Any member, parent of a playing member, volunteer, or board member of our association who has questions about or is experiencing inappropriate behavior can contact our confidential advisor (CPA). A CPA is the point of contact within HC Den Bosch in these situations and offers a listening ear, advice, and referrals for appropriate assistance within the association and/or disciplinary and criminal law.


The VCP is aware of the options available to obtain assistance.


In addition, it advises and encourages the association to take preventive measures to prevent inappropriate behavior.


'Undesirable behavior' includes, among other things:


  • Aggression and violence
  • Sexual harassment and unwanted intimacies
  • Bullying and ignoring
  • Discrimination
  • Any other form of behaviour that conflicts with the applicable norms and values and/or the rules of conduct as they apply within HC Den Bosch.


When someone contacts a VCP, they ensure a secure environment for everyone involved. The VCP always treats the information received confidentially.
