This Easter, from April 1st to 6th, HC 's-Hertogenbosch will host the ABN AMRO Euro Hockey League (EHL) Finals. The renowned hockey complex at Oosterplas will welcome no fewer than 20 of Europe's best club teams, an honor the club is proud to accept.

HC 's-Hertogenbosch will host the ABN AMRO Euro Hockey League Finals 2026
The event will take place from Wednesday, April 1, to Monday, April 6, 2026. Over these six days, 26 elite matches will be played in both the EHL Women FINAL12 and EHL Men FINAL8. The ABN AMRO EHL Hockey ID and Under 14 tournaments will be held simultaneously, making this event a true hockey festival in the heart of Brabant.
EHL chairman Peter Elders shares his enthusiasm: “We are delighted to bring the Euro Hockey League to Den Bosch for the first time. Both the club and BrabantSport have given us an incredibly warm welcome. It's fantastic to play our finals on the grounds of a club with a rich history in European club hockey.”
A rich hockey history
HC 's-Hertogenbosch has an impressive history in European club competitions. The women's team has won the EHL Women's title twice in the past four years, in addition to an impressive 16 EuroHockey Club Cup victories. Furthermore, the club has hosted the Club Cup seven times.
Club chairman Rob Almering is looking forward to reviving the EHL in Den Bosch: “It's been almost ten years since we organized this event, and we're thrilled to once again showcase the pinnacle of European club hockey. Our beautiful complex and warm Brabant hospitality offer the perfect atmosphere. This event inspires young people and showcases our passion for hockey.”

Top Sport in Brabant
The event is co-facilitated by BrabantSport, which supports this hockey spectacle as part of its strategy to bring top-level sport to the region. Robert van den Hoogenband of BrabantSport says: "Top-level sport and large-scale events like the EHL inspire our region. They connect people, generate enthusiasm, and offer economic and social added value."
Marianne van der Sloot, alderwoman for sports in the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch, also sees this as a unique opportunity: "With the European Hockey League, the best teams in Europe are coming to our city. It will be a sporting highlight and fantastic preparation for 2026. I'm really looking forward to it!"
