RAAD VAN ADVIES

To ensure our association remains abreast of all the important developments and changes in our environment, ensuring our continuity (including within the public sector, the business community, and, of course, in elite sports), the board has chosen to appoint an Advisory Board, which will provide the board with solicited and unsolicited advice. This has long been a desire of ours, as the board advocates for an association that is open to both its members and the surrounding community, and that approaches this with a proactive approach. The board and the Advisory Board intend to meet at least twice a year. As a board, we are pleased to announce that the following individuals have agreed to serve on this Advisory Board. They introduce themselves below:

Minke Booij I'm Minke Booij, director of Spieren voor Spieren, a foundation with the mission to beat all muscular diseases in children. After my top-level sports career, I held various positions within the sport, such as Manager Women's Football for the KNVB (until the 2017 European Championship), and since 2017, I have been a member of the Supervisory Board of BrabantSport. My son, Derk, and I have two sons who, unfortunately, don't play hockey. I've been a member of Hockey Club 's-Hertogenbosch for over 35 years. I started in the E5 team and retired from the women's first team in 2008 after winning my 11th national title and 9th European Cup title. Thanks to the club, I was able to realize all my dreams, with Olympic gold as the biggest highlight. I also met wonderful people and made so many friends. The club is in my heart. It has been my second home for a long time, and I still love coming here. Despite the many changes and developments since 2008, I still feel at home here and am incredibly proud of the club's unique combination of elite sports and recreation. As part of the Advisory Board, I want to ensure that every member has fantastic experiences and is proud of this wonderful, unique club.

Marc Bozon HC 's-Hertogenbosch is an important place for me in 's-Hertogenbosch, and I've always had enormous admiration for the successful combination of recreational and elite sports. As a member of the Advisory Board, I therefore hope to be of value to the club, its board, its members, volunteers, sponsors, and all other stakeholders. A little about myself: I'm 53 years old, married to Bea, and we have three children who all play hockey. I've been playing for HC Den Bosch for almost 25 years, currently in the Veterans A team. I coached our children for several years in the past, and I've also been a sponsor with my company for some time. My connection to the club is further reflected in the board position Bea has held for the past six years and in my uncle Theo Kronenburg, who was once chairman. In addition to running my own business, I hold numerous volunteer positions on the board and in other roles at various organizations in the 's-Hertogenbosch region. This primarily concerns organizations in the business community, the cultural sector, government, and a few social institutions and initiatives. Consequently, I've been able to build a large network, and with that background, I also strive to make a difference for HC 's-Hertogenbosch.

Bart Eigeman: In 2004, our middle daughter started playing in the D5 team at the age of 10. I was given the opportunity to be the trainer-coach. And I've remained that way ever since, alternating with the youngest and now for six years with our oldest of the three daughters. She is 28 and plays for the Women's 14 team. Being a trainer-coach aligns with my passion: getting the best out of people and experiencing joy and fulfillment together. In my work, I also focus on support and development. I tap into people's motivations because people are always their own instrument. This requires everyone to know how they sound, especially when playing with others. I've been doing this work for nine years now as a freelancer. I miss the responsibility to build results together. That's what led me to commit to GroenLinks four days a week on December 1st. There, I'm a senior advisor to all the aldermen, mayors, and provincial executives this club has across the country. I advise on content, strategy, and career development. I have the experience of serving as alderman in 's-Hertogenbosch for 11 years (from 2001 to 2012). I volunteer with various organizations in the city, including childcare, special education, day care for people in vulnerable situations (Loods), and the arts cluster WILLEM TWEE. I enjoy participating in the Oeteldonk parade, running year-round, and in the summer, I like to escape the crowds by climbing high in the mountains. Why am I so passionate about serving on the Advisory Board? I know the club inside and out as a community. I enjoy contributing to the community's perspective. How can HCDB connect even more effectively with and be experienced by the 's-Hertogenbosch community?
