The Sportief Ontdekken (Sporty Discover) project is an initiative of Hockey Club 's-Hertogenbosch in collaboration with local schools, the municipality, and partners such as Rabobank, the BrabantSport Fund (From Good to Gold), Tommy Tomato, and Appèl. We focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle for all children, particularly those from disadvantaged neighborhoods.
Through a combination of hockey clinics led by top coaches, various workshops on healthy nutrition and new sports, Sportief Ontdekken aims to develop important skills such as teamwork, perseverance and discipline.
Our mission: all of 's-Hertogenbosch moving, and all children fit in 's-Hertogenbosch.
The program offers children the opportunity for broad development, both in sports and in their general well-being.
Program times are:
- 12:45 pm departure from school to hockey club
- 1:00-4:30 PM lunch, nutrition workshop and hockey clinic
- Back at school at 5pm
